I love to use HDRI on my interior and exterior projects instead of the Sunsky option in Unreal. I always get better results with HDRIs in terms of light and shadow softness but I knew I would lose the element of skycycle from the atmospheric sun. To get around that, I decided to create my own blueprint and material for setting up the sky on my projects, and I edit the HDRIs on Affinity Photo if I want them more afternoon-ish or at night. I'm very happy with the results and this is the way I'll do moving forward.
